Kegless Beer, WTF!

Kegless is a bag-in-box packaging concept for carbonated beverages that provides an alternative to conventional single serve packages. The simple and basic design allows a low cost manufacturing and distribution solution, with reduced environmental impacts throughout its life cycle.

Industrial design graduate Thomas Hussey has developed Kegless, which is a boxed beer system. Thomas created the unique collapsible container that can keep the beer fresh for up to a month with reduced costs and environmental impact. What about the Beer Thomas? how does it affect the taste buddy? we like the idea, we just hope it does not have a negative impact on the all important taste.

I wanted to reduce the environmental effects, but also reduce cost and provide a marketing benefit. It’s all very well to come out with a product that has less environmental impact, but people need to want to buy it.
