Your are hereby ordered to relinquish your man card immediately.

Please refer to the Manly Handbook, chapter 3, subsection a., which states: No real man shall attend a baby shower, ever.

We are highly disappointed in you and hope that someday, you will be able to regain your status as a man and we will be able to return your man card.

We understand the Jon Trollen situation, since it is arguable if he ever was a man, but you should know better. This idea was devised by women as yet another way to get more expensive gifts, obviously knowing that their guys friends have real jobs and vastly more money available than their cheap ass girlfriends.
