On this edition of the Manliest Thing, Rene V showed us that not only was drag racing alive and well, but in full force on the night we went out to the Homestead Motor Sports Complex. Normally the track where Nascar graces its fans once a year, the track officials have opened Friday Nights up to the community to bring their fastest cars and race one another along with the clock to see who's got the fastest car.
The night we went out? Rene had the fastest car. His '66 Nova screamed down the Eighth mile track at 111 miles per hour in no more than 6.121 seconds. Rene said it best, "This Car is fast. Really really fast!". Check out the video and let us know what you think of our new series!
