We’re All Going to DIE!: Perching UAV

A few years from now you are in a high rise building casually looking out the window as a flock of birds fly past. Something appears to break off from the flock and fly toward your building, as it silently approach’s you see that it is an aerial surveillance drone and as you watch it, almost with out any effort at all flares just before hitting the building and gracefully settles, recharging, watching, perched on the wall until its ready to release and fly away. To you this is as common as a pigeon doing the same thing 20 years ago, science fiction? Not if those crazy kids from Stanford University have anything to do with it.
