The Red Bull Stratos Project

Red Bull in their never ending quest to bring you awesome things have out done them selves with the Red Bull Stratos Project, be warned the website requires Microsoft’s Silverlight plugin so it might not work in all browsers.

The Red Bull Stratos Project’s aim is to float Felix Baumgartner (BASE jumper) to more than 36,500m or 120,000 feet for you old schoolers, using a stratospheric balloon and make a freefall jump back to the earth at supersonic speed before parachuting safely back to the dirt.
