NASA High-Altitude Balloon Accident

It’s not “code” for another Roswell cover up, it is in fact a very lucky escape for some as a High-Altitude Balloon carrying gamma-ray detectors as a test bed for a future NASA observatory was caught in some unexpected wind causing a premature launch.   Reminds me of when I was 15 on the couch with J… -Ahem- The accident, occurring in central Australia (go the Aussies) was caught on camera, (clip below) you can see as the balloon drags the payload across the launch area smashing into cars and narrowly missing launch personnel and on lookers.
