The OMC Pick of FridayTrailer’s June 25, 2010
This weeks pick is in fact last weeks pick but someone got food poisoning over the weekend and could not make the distance from the bathroom to the office to push the button. And as I live in a country without Monkeys, I could not get the Monkey to push the button either so here it is, late but here none the less. Friday Trailers hosts a lineup of awesome movies this week / last week, including The Green Hornet, Centurion, Valhalla Rising, Little Fockers and a very interesting looking “Twelve” but there was one that stood out from the crowd and I’m sure most Men will be in agreement with me that it deserves the title of OMC Pick and that title goes to “Red”.
Based on a Warren Ellis comic and staring Bruce “Mr Action” Willis, Morgan “the Voice” Freeman, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Karl Urban and the always beautiful Mary-Louise Parker, Red is about retired black-ops agents and CIA hit-men/women dealing with retirement and trying to survive assassination by their former employers. Red hits theatres on October 15th and looks to be not only action packed but a bundle of laughs as well.
When his idyllic life is threatened by a high-tech assassin, former black-ops agent Frank Moses reassembles his old team in a last ditch effort to survive.

The Franchise says: I know you bloody Aussies are kinda backwards but if you post a Friday Trailer on a Monday then wouldn’t that make it a Monday Trailer?
