Nerf Weekend Warrior

While talking to Official Man Card Member Adam over the weekend (not about Hellcats, I promise) he made mention of his plans to hold a Nerf war with his family and a few of his friends over the Christmas break. Always up for a bit of the foam dart fun I asked him what his arsenal consisted of and received this picture in response.

Adam informed me that missing from the photo are the N-Strike Raider, Secret strike, ammo can, and the tactical vest which are wrapped up as Christmas gifts for his family. All pictured in the gallery below.

After sending me the photo his arsenal (above) Adam pointed out that as kids most of us probably had one or two toy guns to play war with when your mates came around. It wasn’t to hard to imagine how cool it would be if we had an entire arsenal at our disposal to stage our very own war with. It was this thought, along with the fact most of us Man Carders are just big kids at heart that lead Adam to buy the Nerf weapons that appealed to him for the enjoyment of his young, and young at heart family and friends to play a safe but very fun game of war.

Now playing with toy guns may not be as Manly as shooting real ones, and shooting foam darts may not be as exciting as something like paintball. But keep in mind here that this is something a father is able to do with his young family. Not to mention a great excuse for a male adult (I think they’re called Men) to embrace the inner child and re-live those childhood memory’s. Except this time with far cooler toys. Thanks for the photo Adam and I hope you are able to share with us how your Christmas Nerf war turns out.

I suppose if you can’t get the real thing, you have to play with plastic. Does the same apply with your women?

She looks a bit sun damaged and tucked for my liking. I’m more into an elastomeric gel kind of girl with combination of 90–94% by weight of plasticizing oil and of 5–9% by weight of a block copolymer comprising an admixture of a styrene ethylene butylene styrene block copolymer and a styrene ethylene propylene styrene block copolymer combined in a ratio of 1:5 to 5:1.

Some people may call me picky.
