With a recent revocation, we thought it only right to start a forum topic on this matter. What are the movies that Men, by Man Rule, have to see in their live times?

I’ll kick the list off with the standards:

Wait wait, the original 1932 Scarface? I’m not so sure about that one man.

It was based on Al Capone, of course. And the reason I recommend it is because when the film was being made, Capone sent two men to meet with Howard Hawks, the director, to get him to shut down the movie, because of how accurate it was portraying stuff. Instead, Hawks got the toughs to sign on as advisors to the film. It may be an old film, but damn, there are some great lines in it.

There is a scene where Camonte is at Lovo’s apartment, admiring the fineries, commenting on the expense of the items when he meets Lovo’s playtoy. She is a wise-ass and give Camonte some lip. Well, as Camonte is leaving, he says goodbye to the broad, who gives him some remark. He turns to Lovo and says: “Expensive, eh?”
