Stand Up Spotlight – Greg Giraldo

Greg Giraldo was an incredibly funny man. Whether it was during one of the many, many roasts that he spoke at or his own stand up comedy he was money every single time. Giraldo passed away today at the young age of 44 from an accidental drug overdose. He was found at a party on Saturday unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics managed to resuscitate him and take him to a hospital where he remained in a critical condition until his passing.

Aside from his numorous appearances on the various comedy roasts, Giraldo was was also a judge on the seventh season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and a regular on Lewis Black’s Root of all Evil. So the old saying goes don’t remember how they died, remember how they lived. So to you Greg Giraldo, on behalf of OfficialManCard.com thank you for sharing your gift of comedy, may you rest in peace.

Man, who is going to be the unknown hilarious guy at the Comedy Central Roasts now?

All joking aside, Greg was a funny guy and definitely deserves an Honorary Man Card for his contributions to comedy as well as having the balls to make fun of anyone, no matter what.

RIP Greg, thanks for some laugh out loud moments!
