Stand Up Spotlight – Greg Giraldo

Greg Giraldo was an incredibly funny man. Whether it was during one of the many, many roasts that he spoke at or his own stand up comedy he was money every single time. Giraldo passed away today at the young age of 44 from an accidental drug overdose. He was found at a party on Saturday unconscious and unresponsive. Paramedics managed to resuscitate him and take him to a hospital where he remained in a critical condition until his passing.

Aside from his numorous appearances on the various comedy roasts, Giraldo was was also a judge on the seventh season of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, and a regular on Lewis Black’s Root of all Evil.
