Fake It Til You Make It – web series review

Jaleel White, better known to most of us as Urkel has finally managed to re-emerge from obscurity and re-invent himself and the results are not only hilarious but entertaining as well.

White plays former child star turned “image consultant” Reggie Culkin (something familiar to Jaleel White…well the child star part at least). Reggie is a like if Ari Gold from Entourage had a love child with P.Diddy and Usher. White as Reggie is brash, egotistical and often full of shit, a far cry from the real Jaleel White who is educated, polite, and very down to earth.

Aside from starring in “Fake It Til You Make It”  White serves as executive producer and writer. White also surrounds himself with a great supporting cast including the always amazing Debbie Allen and even Wayne Brady shows up playing himself.

Each episode lasts between 5 and 8 minutes but leaves you with the feeling of wanting more. The web series can be seen on hulu and trust me you will be entertained. Unless your watching it from outside of the USA then you will be bored stupid staring at a disclaimer as hulu will not stream it to your foreign ip address, suck it Simon, you will have to settle for the YouTube trailer below. Based on the writing, production, and humor I give Fake It Til You Make It 4 out of 5 beers, I would have given this series a perfect 5 out of 5 beers but I docked it a beer because the episodes are too short and funny like this I would like to last a little longer.
